Final details for this Saturday’s Sports, Arena & Entertainment Community Hackathon
We are looking forward to seeing you at the Sports, Arena & Entertainment Community Hackathon this Saturday!
Here are some additional details:
Location & Parking
The event takes place at One Ballpark Center (Comcast building) next to Braves Stadium on the 2nd floor in The Farm.
There is FREE parking in the stadium's Red Deck. Use this GPS address for deck: 2565 Circle 75 Parkway. Park on any level and take the elevator to the 3rd floor and enter the glass door to the covered walkway which leads you to One Ballpark Center (Comcast). Building security asks the everyone check-ins at the check-in table. It may take 10-15 minutes to get from parking up to the event venue FYI. All guest staying the whole day will need to pick up a parking validation from Kimberly Goler-Stubbs.
Comcast is number 57 on the attached map and the Red Deck is labeled.
Schedule
- 9:00 AM - Doors open and breakfast served
- 9:30 - Welcome - Understanding the business challenge/theme
- 10:00 - Pitches & teams form
- 10:30 - Hacking begins
- 12:00 PM - Lunch served
- 5:00 - 3 minute demos + Q&A
- 6:00 - Judges deliberate and dinner served
- 6:30 - Winners announced and prizes awarded
- 7:00 - End
What to bring
Laptop + extra monitors (please bring your own power strip/surge protector if you have many things to plug in), and any unique hardware, tools and supplies you need.
What we'll have there for you
VR headsets, arduino boards, Sensor Kits, Light Kits, Inventors Kits, AdaFruit Kits, flip charts, post it notes, markers, power strips, extension cords.
Minor participants
All ages welcome! Elementary and middle school students must be accompanied by an adult, and all minor participants must turn in a signed photo release form before the start of the event.
